St. Davids Day

Saint David was a church official; he was a Celtic monk and he was a native of Wales, who lived in the sixth century. During his life, he birth always still uncertain. Then St. David's live in the most centuries and the one of the important places is Great Britain, it is the focal point of several old roads. Then for the same reason that St David is the patron saint of Wales.On the first March, the St David’s Day will take place in the centre. These weeks will celebrations included about music, food, dance, poetry and culture which runs from February 26 to March 6. After that Gordon Brown celebrates St David's Day. People in the UK they usually wear a beautiful coat for a couple of weeks running up to it on the St. David's Day. Lastly we are confident that there is something for everyone and we are constantly adding some other food and cooking material. Many foods of the country will have many typically consumed all over Wales. The seafood and the cake are very popular. And the Lamb is one of the best in the world. Wales also has several excellent breweries, both large and smaller family-owned ones.

Government

There are currently 144 female MPs.And there are four female ministers in the british government. Theresa May MP,Caroline Spelman MP,Cheryl Gillan MP and Baroness Warsi.Theresa May MP:She is a member of Parliament for Maidenhead, she having worked in the City before becoming an MP,and she has experience of life outside Westminster.Caroline Spelman MP: She is a member of Parliament for Meriden and Secretary,then she will department of environment, food and Rural Affairs.Cheryl Gillan MP:She was a member of Parliament for Chesham in April 1992.  Following the General Election of May 2010 Cheryl was appointed Secretary of State for Wales.Baroness Warsi: She delivers 2011 University of Leicester Sir Sigmund Sternberg Lecture.And the Countess Markievicz she was the first woman elected to the House of Commons,and  she will be elected to Parliament was the Countess Markievicz (1868-1927).

Parliament

The Parliament has numerous contacts with lobby groups, which have led it to adopt an associated code of conduct.Parliament is the place where politicians meet to decide laws and make decisions on running the UK.The business of Parliament takes place in two "houses": the elected House of Commons and the House of Lords, whose members are mostly appointed.House of Commons:Democratically elected house, makes laws and checks the work of Government.The House of Lords:A forum of expertise, making laws and providing scrutiny of Government.


To start with there are two Houses of Parliament:The Houses of Commons and The Houses of Lords respectively.Therefore the House of Commons was originally far less powerful than the House of Lords, but today its legislative powers greatly exceed those of the Lords.Moreover there are 659 constituencies in the United Kingdom and there have 529 in England,by the way there also has 72 in Scotland.Specifically some places cover a large area but the others cover a very small area.Lastly the political party from the government after a general election.Even so i will explain what is mean'first past the post'.For instance the person who has the most wins,then they have only one than the next person.

The European Union

After 1945 the ideal of a united Europe in economic and political institutions.Because people during the war were determined to end the international hatred and competition in Europe and to build a lasting peace and before the enemy. In 1945 and 1950, enter into a new era. Western interests of the state and the people share together, and it will be built upon the treaty safeguard the rule of law and equality between countries.In the 1950s Britain not want to join the EEC.If the idea of a "core Europe" might not be a solution.

However, a year later, the lack of progress will lead the organization's prime minister McMillan request to join the European economic community(EEC). French President didn't like English to join the union as it believe that they are a Trojan horse for the interests of the United States. Of course it can also think DE gaulle not eager to see France leadership in the European challenge. A referendum is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is asked to either accept or reject a particular proposal.It is a form of direct democracy.
Iceland,Norway and Liechtenstein are not included in this text.Because they are through the creation of the European Economic Area(EEA).Nowdays there have 40 percentage of world trade belongs to the EU.There have European Council,Council of Ministers,European Commission,the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice all in the running of the EU.The Parliament is the only directly-elected body in the EU.Eurosceptic is a general term used to describe criticism of the European Union (EU), and opposition to the process of European integration,  Traditionally, the main source of eurosceptic has been the notion that integration weakens the nation state. Other views occasionally seen as eurosceptic include perceptions of the EU being undemocratic or too bureaucratic.A europhile is a person who is fond of, admires, or even loves European culture, society, history and so on. In politics, it may be used to imply Pro-Europeanism, or support for the European Union.At last polls in recent years will suggested that a majority of Britons are against joining the EU.

First booking three people return coach tickets

7:30 get up and have a breakfast

8:00 arrived at the Cardiff coach station

9:00 set out to the London

11:45 arrived at the Victoria coach station

12:00 we take the underground to the St.James’s Park by circle line.

Arrived at the St.James’s Park  we can visit the Westminster abbey, Buckingham Palace, parliament house, Big Ben and so on.

15:00 we take the underground to the waterloo by the northern line

Arrived at the waterloo we can visit the London Eye.

16:00 we take the underground to the Leicester Square

In the Leicester Square there have a Chinatown, we can go to there for have a dinner.

16:50 go back to the Victoria coach station and waiting for the coach

17:00 take the coach go back.

20:00 we have finish one day travel


Today we prepare to travelling the London.Last week we bought three return tickets by coach.Today we will been to the London to enrich ourselves experience and broaden ourselves horizons.
At 7:30am we are get up and have a breakfast,we are very exciting to go to the coach station.
At 8:00am we arrived at the Cardiff coach station for waiting to set out to the London.
At 9:00am the coach have set out to the London,from Trefforest to the London will spent about three hours.
At 11:45am we arrived at the Victoria coach station in the London.We are very happy.

At 12:00am we take the underground to the St.James’s Park by circle line.This is our first tourist spots.When we arrived at the St.James’s Park  we can see the many famous tourist attractions.Such as : Westminster abbey, Buckingham Palace, Parliament house, Big Ben and so on.We are using ourselves camera to take some photos then we walk around the street to visit each places of interest.Sometimes we can interact with the locals.They are very friendly and talk with us,explain these history of the tourist spots.Then let us get a clear perspective of these tourist spots.And it can promote the cultural communication and interaction between China and England.Every years more of people went to the London for travelling.It can contribute to economy of the country.

At 15:00pm we take the underground to the waterloo by the northern line.Because we wants to see the London Eye. As we know on 31st December 2010,the New Year Eve 2010 was hold on the London Eye.I remember that evening my girlfriend and i went to the London Eye to waiting the New Year.The Jaw dropping fireworks are being launched off the 135 metre London Eye,projecting colour and light that can be seen throughout the capital.So this times we will appreciate the London Eye and take some photos back.

At 16:00pm we take the underground to the Leicester Square

In the Leicester Square there have a Chinatown, we can go to there have a dinner.When we go abord for study we will leaving ourselves home and contact strangeness country.In the other country we can make some chinese friends was very luck.So we can go to the Chinatown for dinner taste the hometown's food. Let us not alone.
At 16:50pm we are go back to the Victoria coach station and waiting for the coach.

At 17:00pm we are take the coach go back and take us smile and beautiful photos.

At 20:00pm we have finish one day travel,we are very happiness.

The People of Britain

As we know British people live in the UK.They are who live in the Britain there have 'four nations' about Wales Scotland Ireland and England.They speak Welsh Scottish Irish and English.And there have many different between the people of the 'four nations' such as:character,geography,favourite,accent and so on.Specifically some Scottish like to eat different food with each other country.Scotland was in the north,England was in the southeast,Wales was in the south.Then some of  country have the different accent,there are also differences in the UK spoken by different voice.For example:English as spoken in England,which comprises Southern English dialects,Midlands English dialects and Northern English dialects and so on.
In my country usually have some people called who live in Britain  "Ying Guo Ren".And a less of people like called them "Yang Gui Zi" because long long ago many different country attrack our country,let more people heat them,so when they saw some foreigner come to our country they will called them "Yang Gui Zi" .

The three national symbols of England are the St.George's cross,The red rose and the Three Lionscrest.The Patron saint is St George and the Saint's day is 23 April.In the wales the symbols are the Dragon of Cadwallader  Leek .The Patron saint is St David and the Saint's day is 1 March The  national symbols of Scotland and Ireland are the St Andrew's Cross ,Lion rampant Thistle and St Patrick's Cross Republic of Ireland Shamrock respectively.The Patron saint of Scotland is St Andrew and the Patron saint of Ireland is St Patrick. The Saint's day of Scotland is 30 November and the saint's day of Ireland is 17 March.
There have four nations of Britain,so i think there have four British languages exist.As we know English is current of the world,so every country should can speak English.
If people living in Britain they should be belong of the ‘four nation’Different nations has their own language，such as the Walsh in Wals，the scotch in Scotland，the Irish in Ireland and so on. Except the local residents，there are many overseas students and immigrants outcome and income between the uk and their own country.

England has warmer maximum and minimum temperatures throughout the year than the other countries of the United Kingdom. For instance in summer Saudi Arabia is more hotter than UK, average temperature in summer is 50 degree. However the temperature of the UK in summer is between 15 to 28. In the winter just the reversed ,the lowest temperature of England is basically -6 to 3;the lowest temperature of Saudi Arabia is basically between 5 to 10. Though Wales has milder minimums from November to February, and Northern Ireland has warmer maximums from December to February. England is also sunnier throughout the year, but unlike Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland, the sunniest month is July, totaling 192.8 hours. It rains on fewer days in every month throughout the year than the rest of the UK, and rainfall totals are less in every month, with the driest month of July averaging 54.1 mm.
